• Boards show some wear, scuffing, heavy edgewear.  Corners are bumped, frayed, with exposed board.  See photos.
• Spine with traces of gilt ruling is darkened, with bumped and worn ends.  
• Binding is intact, fragile with some cracking evident at covers.  See photos. 
• Pastedowns and feps are toned, have some moderate foxing, staining, pencil marks at front fep, corner turndowns.  
• Illustrations, engravings in miniature to fit the page format, are clear.  
• Interior is uniformly tanned, exhibits staining, foxing, some corners are folded.  See photos.  
• Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.

From the Philadelphia printer John Bioren (1778-1835), this miniature thumb Bible offers a narrative of the Old and New Testaments, with illustrations.  More compact even than the Newbery Bible.  With a page titled, "The Old and New Testament dissected," which lists all the statistics for each Testament, including the number of books, chapters, verses, words, and letters.
