A genealogy of the descendants of John Jacob Preisz, born in Witzenstein, Prussia, in the late 17th century. Part of the congregation of German Baptists, Price fled religious persecution and arrived in Germantown, Pa. in 1719. His descendants were numerous, as is evidenced by this volume.
The compiler, George F.P. Wanger, was related to Price through his mother, Rebecca Price Wanger.
Owner's inscription reads in part: "Property of Norman F. Alderfer, Souderton, Pa." Norman Alderfer, born in 1907, is listed in the Index, together with members of his family. The corresponding text page has been amended to include birth years, presumably in the hand of Mr. Alderfer.
