The illustrator, Milo Winter (1888-1956), created illustrations for editions of "Aesop's Fables," "A Christmas Carol," and "Arabian Nights" in addition to "Alice in Wonderland."  Winter was later the art editor of Childcraft books from 1947 to 1949.
