Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD condition.

• Full leather bound in dark brown, with three-quarter styling.   
• Boards show some wear and aging, with some warping of front cover and edgewear throughout.  Rubbed shoulders.  Corners are bumped with leather abraded exposed board.  Please see photographs for details of condition.
• Spine has gilt text and is bright, with crushed and frayed ends.
• Binding is strong.   
• Endpapers and feps have some light staining, owner's marks.  Half-inch chip at front fep with closed tear; see photographs.  
• Illustrations are bright and clear, with marginal age-toning.
• Interior is gently age-toned, a 1/2" chip at top of title page.  
• Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.

Volume of folio sized plates, reproduced by photo lithography, of decorative ironwork dating from the 15th to 18th centuries.  Among the ornaments reproduced are locks and keys, hinges, grilles, gates, and tools, all rendered in meticulous detail.
