Baby Breakdown

by Anne Waldman

First printing.  New York and Indianapolis:  The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc., 1970

Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD+ condition, with a VERY GOOD DJ under Mylar.

  • Magenta cloth covers are mostly clean.  Boards show a little sunning at edges.  Upper corners are bumped.  See photos.
  • Spine has metallic blue text and is bright with bumped ends.
  • Binding is strong.
  • End papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear.
  • Interior exhibits minimal signs of age and wear.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
  • Photographic DJ looks great behind Mylar and is backed with archival paper.
  • Close examination of DJ reveals light edgewear including possible bumps, tiny closed tears, tiny chips at corners, staining at returns, scuffing to back cover.  See photos.
  • PS2024.0807

115 pages. 5 1/2 x 8 1/8 inches

A very good plus copy of the first printing of this collection of poems by Anne Waldman (b. 1945).  One of the original members of the Outriders Poetry Project, Waldman's poetry had already appeared in numerous publications prior to this collection.
