Very scarce 1898 publication, no author credited. The alphabet in upper and lower case along with the numbers 1-9 plus the 0. Features child's name along with a poem corresponding to a letter of the alphabet with a full page etching on facing page. Pages individually numbered in pencil. 8" by 9.5".

Hardback is overall in GOOD condition.

• Boards feature a full page, full color illustration on the front and show scuffing to corners and light soiling to back.
• Back hinge has separated and has pulled away from the binding.
• Name in pencil on ffep.
• Interior is toned with foxing throughout.
• As noted, page numbers have been penciled in at the upper outside corner of each page otherwise interior is clean.
• No writing, highlighting, underlining or other intentional marks.
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
