Hardback is overall in GOOD++ condition.

• Binding is tight and secure.
• Edges are gilt and generally clean.
• Beautifully bound in full leather, each board features an elaborate stamped design with gilt decoration.
• The spine features four raised bands and gilt trim and shows hard wear to tail, and a 2" X .25" chip off left side, some splitting and scuffing along shoulders and head of spine.
• Exhibits general wear to edges and shelfwear.
• Decorative paper on pastedowns and endpapers is clean
• Sticker on front pastedown.
• Interior is overall clean, with light tanning. Small section has some darkly tanned patches as shown in photos.
