Hardback set is overall in VERY GOOD condition.

  • Dark blue covers are mostly clean, with white text and illustration.  Corners are sharp.
  • Spines have white text and are bright with firm ends.
  • Bindings are strong. 
  • End papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear; two small stains to front pastedown V. 2.  
  • Illustrations are bright and clear, color plates are tipped-in. 
  • Interior exhibits minimal signs of age and wear.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
    • Volume 3 exhibits some adhesions at text block head at first few and final few pages.  See photos.  
  • Text block edges exhibit a stain to head of Volume 1.  See photos.
