A new story by Luc Durtain (pseud. for Andre Robert Gustave Nepreu, 1881-1959) -- part novel, part travelogue, part social commentary, -- inspired by Durtain's travels across America. Longview, Washington, is a busy port town on the Columbia River.
Featuring woodcut prints by the Belgian artist Frans Masereel. A handsome piece of letterpress printing, each page is bordered by a stars and stripes band in red and blue. Printed January 5, 1927, at the presses of master printer Coulouma, at Argenteuil.
This is copy 20/200 printed on Madagascar paper.
