- Spine features text and lines in gilt and five raised bands.
- Spine is overall in better condition than boards, yet shows rubbing and chipping to ends as well as rubbing along shoulders and a partial sticker with writing to foot.
- Binding is fragile. Front cover is detached. Gutter is intact in rest of textblock. (See photos)
- Pastedowns feature handsome colored marble design.
- Front fep is detached, and has signature from previous owner. (See photos)
- Ex-libris with bookplate on front pastedown, bearing illustration and text. (See photos)
- Fold-out plates are well preserved with occasional mild to moderate edgewear and gentle toning. Plates at end of book show more pronounced toning as well as foxing. (See photos)
- Interior is gently age-toned and overall well preserved. Toning is more pronounced, and accompanied with foxing, at beginning and end of volume than in center.
- Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
- Textblock edges feature blue marbling and some tinting along head, and displays expected toning.
- Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
