A very good first edition copy of this story starring Fifi, the white poodle who lives with Lord and Lady Fimple Fample of the British Foreign Service. The drawings and story in verse come from the pen of Ludwig Bemelmans (1898-1962), prolific cartoonist and author best known for his Madeleine books.
Large quarto picture book size, with bright four-color illustrations that capture Fifi's adventures on the African continent.
