• Gray cloth covers are mostly clean, with title and decoration in metallic blue.  
• Boards show some scuffing, a few smudges.  Corners are sharp.  See photos.

• Signature sheet is glued in at front fep.  End papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear.

Earl Hamner, Jr. (1923-2014) is best known as the creator of the television series The Waltons, inspired by his boyhood in Virginia.  This connection is evident on the signature plate, with Hamner's name followed by "John-Boy."
