• Illustrated green cloth cover feature gilt text and detailed black illustration. 
• Boards show some egdewear, as well as some overall scuffing and white flecks, with faint staining along the outer portion of the rear board. 
• Gently bumped corners are lightly scuffed, with a little fraying on some corners. 
• Spine has black lettering with rough, crushed ends. 
• Binding is secure. 
• Ffep bears writing in ink. 
• Copyright page and endpapers show light smudging. 
• Illustrations are clear and vibrant on age-toned paper.
• Interior is gently age-toned, with some scattered foxing throughout.
• The plate accompanying chapter one shows a distinct smudge to lower corner near gutter, and other mostly marginal light marks or wear. Please see photos. 
• Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
• Text block edges are dusty. 
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
