• Illustrated with notes and adorned with maps, plans and heads
• Beautifully half bound in leather and marbled paper
• Each spine is separated into six sections by raised bands, four sections have gilt illustrations, two sections have gilt on black background
• Vol. One front shoulder is beginning to crack from head, a few pencil markings on endpapers, two signatures and "New York" on title page
• 18" X 15" map of the Dominions and Claims of the Queen of Hungary and the Duke of Tuscany which has only two small tears, a 12.5" X 16" map of West Indies, a 14" X 12" map of the Battle of Dettingen with two small tears
• Vol. Two: a 11" X 8.5" map of the Countries Adjacent to Carlisle showing the Route of the Rebels..." with two small tears
• Owner's signature on title page
• Moderate scuffing to all boards, gilt a bit faded, both interiors have very light foxing scattered throughout but are o/w very clean with few marks and no tears, bindings tight
