Very scarce 1875 publication includes biographical sketches of its filed and staff officers and a complete record of each officer and enlisted man. Follows the movement of the regiment through areas such as Florida, Virginia Features 70 stand South Carolina. Features steel portrait engravings and wood cuts with frontis of Henry R. Guss.

Cloth boards feature gilt trim surrounding the regiments insignia and show fading to front and spine with two large dark stains to back.
Boards shows prominent edgewear.
Corners bumped and scuffed with exposed boards.
Spine tail shows .5" chip with smaller chips to head and 2" tear the top right.
Small abrasions to mid-upper portion of spine.
Spine liner is exposed with tearing.
Front hinge cracked with webbing and showing play.
Pastedown shows 1" square off finish missing.
Rear pastedown and rear endpaper adhered at small area with tear to endpaper.
Title page shows foxing and minimal soiling.
Page IV of Contents has small tear to bottom edge.
Portraits pages and accompanying tissue paper show water staining to edges.
Light foxing throughout.
Text is clean and legible.
Light age toning to interior.
Binding is secure.
Overall interior is in good condition.
No writing, highlighting, underlining or other intentional marks.
Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
