A Very Good Plus copy of this lovely little book dedicated to the graphic output of John DePol's "Irish Period."  Prepared in conjunction with an exhibition of DePol's work at Fairleigh Dickinson University, the book includes a catalogue raisonné of his graphic work in Ireland.  Illustrated, and includes an original etching, "Old Storefronts, Limerick," signed by DePol.

John DePol (1913-2004) was a New York print maker and wood engraver.  Over a period of nearly forty years DePol collaborated with John Anderson (d.1997), typographer, book designer and proprietor of the Pickering Press of Maple Shade, New Jersey.  In the 1980s, they taught together at workshops for Fairleigh Dickinson University and produced advertising broadsides for the workshops.  This edition, the work of the Pickering Press, is a fitting nod to the long running collaboration of the two men.

Edition of 600 copies.  This copy is 1/100 with an original signed engraving bound in before the title page.  Set in Galliard and Post Titling by Folio Typographers and Pickering Press; printed by Cypher Press, Bensalem PA.
