A Very Good Plus copy of the 2013 reprint edition of this most sought after book.  Eleven years after the magical exhibition at Somerset House in London, JAR reprinted this book on improved paper with enhanced photographs.  Publisher's red cloth boards, ribbon page marker, glossy DJ, and illustrated slipcase.  The book features 397 designs covering the period 1987-2002, beautifully photographed on black backgrounds with text in English by Joel Rosenthal and Pierre Jeannet.  A "must have" book for all dealers, collectors and lovers of jewelery.

Joel Arthur Rosenthal (b. 1943) is an American jeweler who works in Paris where he founded the fine jewelry firm JAR in 1977.  He has been called "the Faberge of our time."  Rosenthal's work has remained somewhat unknown, since he does not advertise and he produces a limited number of pieces each year.  The museum exhibition of 2002 brought together some 400 of JAR's exceptional and sought-after creations, never before displayed on this scale in public.

Reprint edition.
