Hardback is overall in GOOD condition.

• Features frontispiece of the author.
• Illustrated.
• Bound in green cloth, the front board features gilt lettering and design.
• Boards show significant wear to all areas including scuffing to front and back, edgewear and bumped corners with fraying and exposed boards.
• Spine features gilt lettering.
• Spine shows wear with fraying to head and tail with exposed boards.
• Pastedowns and endpapers feature decorated papers.
• Textlbock is in good condition with a few minor flaws: the ffep is partially detached with a portion of the top right corner missing, leafs are lightly age toned, binding is cracked between pages 192/193, top outer portion of page 217 is torn and lightly peeled back, and some wrinkling along the gutters. Overall, the textblock has maintained and is in excellent condition.
• Binding is rather tight in areas with a few a minor exceptions, as previously outlined. Overall, the binding is secure.
• No writing, highlighting, underlining or other intentional marks.
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
