A generally very good copy of this catalogue of house plans from the Radford Architectural Company in Chicago.  By its own announcement, the volume is a "collection of one hundred absolutely new and attractive plans never before published, together with a selection of one hundred of our most popular houses published heretofore, making a beautiful and valuable book of two hundred up-to-date designs."  Brown paper covers, fully illustrated.  Back cover partially torn away.  With an Index, hints for builders, and pubisher's advertisements.

William A. Radford (1865-1943) was an architect and publisher of architecture and construction books and periodicals.  While many of the plans in his books were traditional Queen Anne and American Foursquare, some of his designs reflect the Prairie School aesthetic, and his publications helped to spread it across the United States in the early 20th century.

Stamped on front board:  Compliments of R.K. Bachman & Brother, Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
