Born in 1925, Mario Giacomelli is considered one of the leading Italian photographers of the twentieth century whose work belongs to the genre of humanism. His work is here presented with that of a later Italian artist, Antonio Biasiucci, born 36 years later, on the same theme: earthscape. The author seeks to show their differences while also and foremost showing what connects them. The beautiful catalog presents the most beautiful and sometimes intriguing photographs of the two artists.
Lavishly illustrated with B&W photographs. Text in Italian with full English translation. Includes an essay by the author at beginning of volume, as well as short biographies and catalogs of presented works for both photographers.
