Hardback is overall in GOOD condition.

Quarter-leatherbound covers are nicely preserved with marbled paper and leather spine piece.
Some slight to moderate rubbing at corners and mild overall fading.
Spine has title in gilt.
Spine shows some fading and rubbing mostly at the head.
Binding is secure.
Paper on pastedowns is newer than in rest of book.
Edges of textblock show some moderate to pronounced age toning and occasional staining, and some irregularities. (See photos)
Fore edge of textblock is deckled.
Inside of book is showing overall pronounced signs of aging and wear from age-toning, some staining, mostly marginal, and overall warping of interior pages. (See photos)
First page of appendix is folded from original printer with uneven cut top edge. (See photo)
