Very scarce first American edition. Subtitle continues: "written by himself detailing many circumstances relative to the insurrection of Ireland in 1798, the expedition to Holland in 1799, and the expedition to Egypt in 1801, and giving a particular account of his religious history and experience." 216 pages. 3.75" by 6".

Published for the Benefit of the United Foreign Missionary Society. Philadelphia, PA. 1822.

Hardback is overall in GOOD condition.

• Full leather binding in very good condition showing only signs of gentle aging and wear with lightly warped boards and scuffs to the finish and wear to the corners.
• The shoulders are creased with the rear shoulder showing a 2.5" inch crack along the upper portion.
• The spine features gilt lettering and design detail, intact and bright with areas of the spine showing subtle wear to the length and head and tail.
• Heavy staining to pastedowns and endpapers.
• The front pastedown shows portions of the paper missing with writing in ink, in partial.
• The title page bears a signature in ink.
• The textblock remains firmly bound with legible type and the interior showing apparent signs of age such as light wrinkling, toning and foxing.
• Some pages are dogeared.
• No writing, highlighting, underlining or other intentional marks.
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
