Hardback is overall in GOOD+ condition.
- Volume exhibits overall toning and fading to covers, with edgewear and rubbing, and toning inside with scattered staining.
- Light brown covers feature blind-tooled frame along edges, and displays fading along edges with some scattered staining to back.
- Boards display some edgewear from rubbing to spine ends and corners, which are also significantly bumped.
- Spine features text in gilt, partially altered by strong sunning of spine as well as two indentations going into text. (See photos)
- Spine ends are rubbed with chips and cracking, and shoulder on front displays a black line.
- Binding is overall secure with a little play.
- Interior is mildly toned and exhibits scattered foxing and smudges throughout. (See photos)
- Some pages display edgewear with corner creasing and small closed tears, as well as a publisher's overhang on one page.
- Front and back feps display some pencil notes. Page 73 has owner sigs marginalia. (See photos)
- Textblock shows a persistent 3.5" crease in gutter from head. Hard to see in photo.
- Textblock edges are toned with some darkening to head and foot, and mild staining to fore edge.
- Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
