Leather panels.
Leather spine features raised bands and red title block with border and lettering in gilt.
Front pastedown features bookplate illustrated with calligraphy monogram and coronet, possibly signifying heraldry of previous owner.
Features extensive index.
Pages are clean and text is legible.
Binding is tight.
Leather panels show wear and abrasions along perimeter.
Rear panel shows 1" long dent to top and gash to bottom.
Corners are bumped.
Leather spine is dried and cracked with small pieces missing; hinge shows significant wear and fraying with 2" piece missing.
Leather of spine tail is peeling and bumped.
Front hinge is cracked with 3" of ffep detached from binding. Rear hinge is cracked.
Foxing throughout front matter.
Front and back pastedowns show foxing with pencil marks to end paper opposite of pastedown.
Fly leaf shows ink transfer from title page.
Writing in ink in the margins of pages 203 and 205 otherwise there is no writing, highlighting, underlining or other intentional marks.
Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
