A very good copy of this ephemeral collection of poetry by Frank O'Hara (1926-1966). Limited edition of 200 copies published by Angel Hair Books in New York City. Paper wraps are tanned , interior printed in keeping with the mimeo revolution; text is well spaced and clear.
This was O'Hara's second book, twelve prose poems to accompany Grace Hartigan's paintings on exhibit at the Tibor de Nagy Gallery. The gallery published O'Hara's poems in 1953, in an edition of only about 75 copies, 25 in three-clasp binders and about 50 stapled in one corner. Thus, the Angel Hair edition of 1969 is sometimes referred to as a second edition. The front cover is by George Schneeman.
Edition of 200 copies. Published by Angel Hair Books, directed by Anne Waldman and Lewis Warsh.
