Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD condition.

• Dark brown rib cloth covers have gilt title.  Original covers have rib pattern running horizontally between opening edges.  
• Boards show some wear, aging, edgewear. Corners are bumped and frayed, with exposed board.  Please see photographs for details of condition.
• Spine is somewhat cocked, with crushed and frayed ends.
• Binding is secure.  Stitching visible at some openings, e.g. at pages 66-67.  See photos.
• Signs of separation at opening pages 176-177.  See photos.  
• Pastedowns and feps in chrome yellow.  Small corner chip at front fep.  See photos.  End papers show dark toning, have owner's mark.
• Interior is age-toned, with moderate foxing.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
