A very good copy, in dust jacket, of this intimate memoir/biography of Reynolds Stone by his son Humphrey.  Reynolds Stone (1909-1979) is known as one of the most distinguished wood engravers of the mid-20th century, in particular for his lettering.  He helped champion the renaissance in good printing and type design and was an accomplished watercolor painter and letter cutter in stone.  

Signed and inscribed by the author on half-title page.
