A rare brochure for the Speedway Championship event, two heats and a final, 50 mile automobile race, run at the Los Angeles Motor Speedway in March, 1920.
Also known as the Beverly Hills Motor Speedway, this timber track with a 1.25 mile circuit was built in 1919 in what is now the heart of Beverly Hills. While the brochure reads "March 21, 1920," the race was run on March 28, 1920. Winners were Art Klein, Jimmy Murphy, and Tommy Milton. Brochure includes photographs of the drivers and the names of their vehicles.
With pencil annotations inside about the positions of the leading vehicles.
