The Addresses and Messages of the Presidents of the United States, from Washington to Tyler

Very scarce THIRD EDITION. An unusual copy as the index ends with Harrison's inaugural address and a proclamation given on March 17, 1841 but is followed in the text by Tyler's inaugural address of April 9, 1841, recommendations, a special sessions message, two bank vetoes and his first annual message. These additions are written in pencil at the bottom of the last page of the table of contents.

The body of the book embraces the executive proclamations, recommendations, protests and vetoes from 1789 to 1842 along with the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. 754 pages. 5.75" by 9".

Published by Edward Walk. New York, NY. 1872.
