Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD condition, with a VERY GOOD DJ under Mylar.
- Plum paper covers are mostly clean, with gilt medallion and green cloth quarter binding. Boards show a little warping, edgewear. Corners are sharp.
- Spine has gilt text and is bright with softened ends. See photos.
- Binding is strong.
- End papers/ pastedowns show little sign of age or wear, signed and inscribed on front fep.
- Interior exhibits minimal signs of age and wear. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
- Text block edges have ink at head, untrimmed fore edges, some foxing at fore edge. See photos.
- Illustrated DJ looks great behind Mylar and is backed with archival paper.
- Close examination of DJ reveals light edgewear at foot, bumping at head including tiny closed tears, chips, chipping at corners, some staining to back cover, a folded corner on rear return. See photos.
