Black ink and gilt stamp design on cover; Gilt and black ink stamp on spine; Blind stamping on back board.
Illustrated with over 40 b/w plates
Cover and back board is lightly soiled and stained. Corner edges are rubbed to the boards.
Spine is lightly soiled and stained. Spine head is frayed, spine foot is chipped.
Small square patent sticker (1876) on front paste down.
Pages are largely clean but exhibit tanning.
End papers have foxing.
Pages 591-594 are creased and folded with some tearing on the bottom corner.
Binding is secure.
