A very good copy of this monograph on Peyotism, based on the author's ethnographical study of the Delaware nation.  Vincenzo Petrullo (1906-1991) spent the period 1929-1930 doing research among the Delaware; this volume was his Ph.D. dissertation (Anthropology, Univ. Pennsylvania, 1934).  With black and white photographic illustrations.

Ownership stamp "Moris Burge" on front fep.  Burge was a Field Representative at the National Association on Indian Affairs in the 1930s.
