Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD+ condition.

  • Pebbled dark green covers are mostly clean, with gold ink title. 
  • Boards show a bump at upper right corner.  Corners are sharp.  See photos.  
  • Spine has gold text a little faded, with firm ends.
  • Binding is strong.  
  • Pastedowns and feps have some light foxing, gift inscription.  
  • Ephemera, a pedigree chart and publisher's advertisement, are interleaved.  
  • Illustrations, black and white photographs, are clear. 
  • Interior exhibits some marginal toning.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.

A very good copy of this genealogical history of the Draper family, one of the largest Mormon families in Utah.  Its focus is the descendants of Thomas and Lydia Rogers Draper, who died in Canada between 1807 and 1819.  

Signed by the author and inscribed to Alfred L. Bush (1933-2023), long-time Curator of Western Americana at Princeton University and alumnus of Brigham Young University.
