This New Testament contains, in addition to the Scriptures, an order of Books in the New Testament, with their names and chapters, as well as a table of kindred and affinity, showing the interdicts for marriage according to blood ties. Contains the Gospels according to Saint Matthew, Saint Mark, Saint Luke, Saint John, the Acts of the Apostles, the Epistles to the Romans with the Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Thessalonians... up to the Revelation of Saint John the Divine. Approx. 320 pages. 4.25 x 6.75 inches.

Contains an Order of the Books of the New Testament with their names and the numbers of their chapters at beginning. Includes a table of kindred and affinity showing the interdicts on marriage according to blood ties, at end of volume. Originally a fine 19th century binding, with pages cut with rounded corners, and strong in impressions.

Hardback is overall in GOOD condition.

• Volume is in overall good condition with expected wear and aging to leather and interior.
• Brown leather boards show general rubbing and fading and display some holes on back along shoulder. (See photos)
• Covers exhibit some edgewear from rubbing with bumped corners and cracked leather to two corners.  
• Spine displays overall rubbing and some cracking along front shoulder, as well as a chip to head.
• Binding is secure.
• Hinges display light cracking with a few gaps at gutters. (See photos)
• Interior shows expected toning with scattered foxing throughout. 
• Front fep has ink signature from previous owner, and last page of text has ink marks. (See photos)
• Some pages exhibit edge tears, corner creases, and darkening along edges.
• Printing comes to edges on a couple pages.
• Front and back feps display notable edgewear.  
• Text block edges show expected toning and darkening.
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
