A very good copy of this 1960 novel, first edition with dust jacket, a Borzoi Book from Knopf. Text block is very nice, the paper supple, some damp staining to spine base the only fault. Publisher's illustrated dust jacket with author photo and bio on back cover.
Harry Brown (1917-1986) was an American novelist, poet, and screenwriter. During World War II he wrote a humor column for Yank magazine.
